- 찰스 디킨스의  작품 " A Christmas Carol" 을 읽는다.

- 읽고 직독직해한 후 서로 이야기를 나누며 이해를 돕는다.

-Scrooge was known by everyone to be mean, miserly, and cold. He was a greedy sinner.

- "No warmth could warm him, No cold could chill him."

-Mr. Marley has been dead these seven years. He died seven years ago this very night.

-It sounded as if some person were dragging a heavy chain over the casks in the wine merchant"s cellar.

-The apparition of Mr. Marley visited him.
